Learning Objectives

  1. Recognize spider and other insect bites and determine treatment
  2. Appropriately manage a variety of animal bites.
  3. Assess and manage pit viper bites.
  4. Recognize and manage acute allergic reactions.
  5. Recognize and determine which toxicology emergencies require specific antidotes.
  6. Review current ACLS guidelines.
