Learning Objectives

1. List the symptoms and risk factors associated with celiac disease, as well as possible co-morbidities.
2. Perform a physical examination to identify the physical symptoms of celiac disease, and recommend laboratory testing and intestinal biopsies as necessary.
3. Educate patients on strategies and a gluten-free diet plan to treat and manage the symptoms of celiac disease.
