Learning Objectives

1. Apply evidence and recommendations regarding Concussion and Return to Play for adolescent and adult athletes.
2. Utilize concussion-based measurement tools to evaluate the nature and extent of an injury and determine athlete’s readiness to return to play.
3. Discuss management strategies for concussion, including imaging, medication, cognitive rest, and return to play.
4. Describe when it is appropriate to refer a patient for subspecialty care.
