1. State the criteria for the diagnosis of Diabetes mellitus.
2. Summarize a disease management plan including appropriate Performance Improvement Measures: Lipid Management, Blood Pressure Management, Hemoglobin A1c Management, Urine Protein Screening, Dilated eye exam, Foot exam, and Aspirin use.
3. Recommend appropriate pharmacologic methods of controlling blood sugar including oral agents and selection of type and regimen of insulin.
