1. Understand use of HCG measurements and transvaginal ultrasound in evaluation of first trimester bleeding.
2. Understand the diagnostic criteria, natural history and treatment options for early pregnancy loss (miscarriage).
3. Describe the evaluation and treatment of ectopic pregnancy including common pitfalls leading to missed diagnoses.
