Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this session, you should be able to:

1. Counsel patients who want to become pregnant, and their partners, including same-sex couples, regarding strategies to maximize the opportunity to become pregnant.
2. Perform a thorough evaluation of female patients experiencing infertility, including laboratory and diagnostic test for disorders and other potential causes.
3. Develop a collaborative treatment plan, as indicated per the evaluation, or coordinate referral and follow-up with a reproductive specialist as appropriate.
