Learning Objectives

2. Capitalize on opportunity presented by pre-participation visits to assess adolescent athletes for common co-morbidities, such as eating disorders and depression.
3. Assess behavioral risk factors in adolescent athletes to uncover issues such as eating disorders or depression.
4. Utilize the American College of Sports Medicine guidelines for evaluating athletes for return to play.
5. Improve assessment of common orthopedic issues in pediatric patients through case-based discussion.
