Upon completion of this session, you should be able to:

1. Evaluate perioperative risk for patients undergoing noncardiac surgery using evidence-based tools and recommendations.
2. Determine the need for perioperative testing for patients with differing comorbidities. 
3. Assess patients for the need for beta-blocker, statin and aspirin therapies to prevent cardiovascular complications, and prescribe the appropriate treatment regimen.
