Learning Objectives

1. Assess patients with underlying risk factors for stroke (ischemic stroke, hemorrhagic stroke, transient ischemic attack).
2. Differentiate, diagnose and evaluate patients presenting with possible signs of TIA or stroke.
3. Use current evidence-based guidelines in selecting appropriate imaging study for diagnosis. 
4. Develop evidence-based treatment plans that focus on risk factor modification and medical therapy to improve outcomes in patients who suffer a stroke.
