Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this session, you should be able to:

1. Classify, by body system, the prevalent complications associated with HIV infection.
2. Perform a differential diagnosis for HIV-associated neurocognitive disorder (HAND).
3. Develop a protocol to provide morbidity prevention for non-infectious disease complications of HIV.
4. Provide patients who are HIV-positive with the HIV-specific vaccination recommendations to prevent opportunistic infections.
